Jamie Swanner - Director Founder and Director of CORE Soccer Training, and a U.S.S.F. license coach; Coach Jamie has over 30 years of coaching experience at all levels including Youth, High School, Collegiate, and ODP in Ohio /New York and at the Professional level. As a player, he has participated in the Olympics, U.S. National Outdoor and Indoor teams and played 17 years as a professional player. His coaching experience with youth, adult, male and female gives him the ability to evaluate develop programs that will enhance the overall player development process. Chris Mead - Pee Wee Director U.S.S.F. licensed coach; Coach Chris has participated in our Pee Wee Program for 8 years and has been director for the last 5 years. His success in developing player’s passion and enthusiasm for the game is outstanding. “His coaching style and ability with the young children as well as parents is second to none. Many parents have written positive letters about Chris’s abilities. They have all said that he is the main reason their child loves to come to training.”
John Dolinsky - Academy Director U.S.S.F. “A” licensed coach; Coach John has 30 years of youth coaching experience. The former 15 year professional player/coach has worked with every level of player both male and female. His passion for the game and teaching style is one of a kind and will only enhance the different programs offered by CORE Soccer Training. “We are extremely excited that John has chosen CORE Soccer Training Academy over other local Clubs who have all showed interest. Jim Thompson - Youth Director U.S.S.F. licensed coach; Coach Jim has coached for the last 12 years at the youth level. “His teaching ability has proven to us at CORE Soccer Training that he is quality both on and off of the field. Jim has coached in the World Championships at Disney for the past two years. This has giving him an understanding of small sided game coaching that is needed in the game today. But most of all, his love for the game and his eagerness to teach is what has made him a valuable part of our CORE Soccer Training Academy program.”
Bobby Barger – Technical Skill/Speed and Agility Director U.S.S.F. licensed coach; Coach Bobby has coached both recreational and select players for the past 6 years. His technical skills are what separate him for the normal staff coach. Adding to his resume Bobby is finishing up his Personal Training certificate which he is specializing in Speed and Agility. “We are extremely excited to have Coach Bobby join our staff I feel confident that his addition will add a new definitive element to CORE Soccer Training Academy.”
Sam Hancock - Youth Assistant Director U.S.S.F. licensed coach; Coach Sam was born and played his soccer in England where he developed his European style of both Playing and Coaching. He has played at all levels from amateur to Semi-Professional. “Sam has been a part of CORE Soccer Training for the last 3 years and brings his unique understanding and teaching of the game to the American children. Having Sam full time has given CORE the ability to offer another level of Programs.”
Paul McKee - Technical Skill Assistant Director U.S.S.F. licensed coach; Coach Paul was an outstanding high school and college player where he had a stint with the U. S. Youth National Team. He also played Semi-Professional soccer. Paul has been coaching kids since the age of 14 and that knowledge of what a player needs at a young age is so valuable. “Paul has been a part of the CORE staff for over 5 years and his passion and drive to always become the best of whatever he is doing reflects in his determination to teach young players on how to succeed.
Jeanna Cryder - Pee Wee Assistant Director U.S.S.F. licensed coach; Coach Jeanna is an accomplished soccer player in her own right. Her ability to play the game at a high level gives her an advantage to show off those strengths. Working on finishing her degree in Secondary Education at SIUE lets her express the way she works with children of all ages. “This is Jeanna’s first full year with CORE. Her passion is truly to teach and help children to better themselves both on and off the field of play. Her teaching abilities and understanding of the very young child is a gift that has no equal. We are fortunate and blessed to have her be a part of our staff.”
Karen Swanner – Staff Coach and Referee Director U.S.S.F. licensed coach; Coach Karen is an accomplished coach, player and National Referee. She has been a referee for all levels both male and female for: Youth, High School, Collegiate, National Team and International. “Her expertise in the interpretation of the game is by far her trademark. This vast knowledge of the rules gives CORE the advantage of training not only soccer as it related to the play but, as it relates to the overall game. Sharing this knowledge with players, coaches and parents alike is another part of what CORE Soccer Training Academy can bring to the table.”
